The Jimmie Hale Mission

Please plan to join us in September for our 12th Annual TradeWinds Partners "Play for the Lilies" Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the beautiful St. Marlo Country Club in Duluth, GA. St Marlo's championship eighteen hole golf course was ranked in the Top 3 of Atlanta's best daily fee golf courses by the Atlanta Journal & Constitution and Georgia Golf News, and made the Top 10 "Best New Courses" by Golf Digest.

The Atlanta Union Mission, will again be the main benefactor for this year’s tournament. The Atlanta Union Mission's help includes mentoring, job training and educational support for single mothers as well as provides shelter and food for those in need of this assistance. Another function of the Mission is a Residential Recovery Program. This program counsels those affected by life controlling issues such as addiction and abuse.

Our other benefactor this year will be Jessie's Place, which is the woman and children's shelter to the Jimmie Hale Mission Ministry.

Jessie's Place is a shelter for homeless and hurting women and children seeking shelter while preparing to reach self-sufficiency. Their goal is to assist and empower families who recognize that a change is needed and sincerely want an opportunity to better their lives.

We sincerely appreciate all of the support that we receive each year from our players, donors and volunteers to make every “Play For The Lilies” tournament a success.
